TIMOTHY RICHARDS

Tim Richards obtained his law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2005 and was called to the bar of Ontario in 2006. Tim joined HHL Law Firm LLP in 2019. However Tim began his legal career in Ottawa before practicing in Vaughan for approximately ten years.

Tim practices in the areas of Corporate/Commercial law, Wills and Estates law and Real Estate. In his Corporate/Commercial practice Tim has advised businesses of various sizes, from small start-ups to publicly listed corporations. He advises clients throughout the life-cycle of a business, from incorporation, shareholders’ agreements, commercial leasing and contract matters to share and asset sales and the reorganization and winding-up of business operations. In his Wills and Estates practices Tim provides assistance and advice to clients with Wills, Trusts and other estate planning mechanisms and has acted for estates of varying sizes and complexities.

Born and raised in Newmarket, Tim has lived most of his life in our Town and currently lives in Newmarket with his wife and two children.
