CATHERINE M. CALLAGHAN
B.A., LL.B.

Catherine is a Partner at HHL Law Firm LLP. Called to the bar of the Law Society of Ontario in 1987 Catherine Callaghan obtained her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1985. Catherine also holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto (St. Michael’s College) which was received in 1980.

With over 35 years of experience, Catherine has a depth of knowledge that allows her to provide sound legal and practical advice to her clients. Catherine and her experienced staff assist clients in the areas of Real Estate, Tax, Estate Planning and Administration, Cottage Succession planning, Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Passing of Accounts and Henson Trust planning for parents with a special needs child.

Catherine has lived in Newmarket since 1991 with her husband Tom and their four children. When not busy at work, Catherine tries to spend as much time as possible outside – at the cottage, golfing, travelling and hiking.

Volunteerism: As far back as she can remember, Catherine has volunteered her time with a variety of organizations whose values she shares. Some of them include:
